Old Blacksmiths Shop - Romantic Gretna Green Wedding Venue
The Old Blacksmiths Shop is one of the buildings that made Gretna Green famous and opened to the public as a visitor attraction as early as 1887.
Built around 1712, the historic venue was the workshop of the local blacksmith who would marry eloping couples who'd fled over the border from England.
The Original Marriage Room, at the Old Blacksmiths Shop is a truly historic wedding venue in Gretna Green, accommodating up to 45 guests.
