The celebrated Blacksmiths shop at Gretna Hall is Perhaps Gretna Green's best know venue.
The Blacksmiths Workshop, built in 1710 houses the original marriage record, and ceremonies take place behind the famous anvil, in front of a magnificent 19th century nobleman's carriage, making a stunning background for photography.
The gardens at Gretna Hall are beautifully landscaped for wedding photography including ponds, forest walks and the iconic 'Gretna Green' sign

If you are visiting Gretna please call into our shop (click for directions) which is on Gretna's main street next door to The Royal Bank of Scotland. The Gretna Registration Office is conveniently situated on the opposite side of the road.
